Dave was a really great friend and a super guy. His Mom bought a Studebaker Avanti and she would take Dave and me to school every day in that car. Many fond memories of Dave.

I was very saddened when Mike's church secretary Melissa called me to tell me of Mike's passing. Every fall when he would vacation on the Jersey shore he would meet Barbara and me in either Lewes, DE or Cape May, NJ. His passion for RRHS never waned. He was always our school cheerleader with his raccoon coat and Pirate pennants. He was so looking forward to the football reunion in October. He certainly was one of a kind, a very special one of a kind.

The RRHS Athletic Department would like to honor the 1964 RRHS Southwest Conference Championship Football Team. This coming Fall it will be 60 years since we made gridiron history. Athletic Director Mark Wagner would like as many players from our team to attend the River-Bay football game at Pirate Stadium on Friday, October 25 where we will be honored. If you were a member of that team and think you can attend please let me know by responding here or email me at kergaard@comcast.net. I would hope that as many of our class members would also try to attend. An after game get together is also being planned.

When I saw the RRHS Class of 1965 t-shirts advertised on Facebook I had to get one. I've always been very proud of my Pirate heritage and I thought what better way to show it along with my HOF award. A lot of memories and fond thoughts of my time with my team mates and class mates.
I just posted on YouTube an 8mm film of our 1964 Pep Rally and Bonfire before the Bay football game. Search Rocky River High School 1964 Pep Rally
Happy, Healthy Birthday, Dave!

Warren was one of the truly nice guys in our class. My condolences and prayers go out to his family.
Terrible to hear the news about Karen. She was always as nice as could be. We all want to extend our lives as long as possible so we can enjoy retirement, kids, grandkids etc. We exercise, visit the doctors, and take supplements all in an effort to live a longer life. Then something no one expects occurs, a young drunk driver takes everything away from you and your family. A tragedy of the worst kind. My prayers and thoughts go out to Karen's family.
Thanks Dave. Can’t believe we’re 74.
You don't look one damn bit different. Bottle up some of that Palm Beach Gardens water and send me some. You look great my friend.
