Still doing Residential real estate sales, but sold the Kona biz and moved to Bluffton SC, where I am in more of a retirement mode. Happy to assist any classmates looking to enjoy life in the Low Country though, on Hilton Head, in Bluffton, Beaufort.

Last year, in what we are referring to as a retirement "soft landing" I purchased a Kona Ice franchise. Kona is a food truck, a mobil shaved ice truck, and more fun than I ever imagined. It may keep me from the 50th reunion, depending on how staffing is come fall, because we do lots of stuff with schools, and particularly athletics, festivals etc. We operate 8 months of the year at this point and are taking delivery on our second truck in about a month. Great fun, and we especially enjoy heading to Fort Bragg to serve soldiers at the ranges and drop zones (see the picture of a gang after a jump at Nijmegan Drop Zone--they think we are a mirage when they see us on the ground after a jump!)and driving the neighborhoods on post. Still selling real estate in the Pinehurst area too.

So sorry to learn of Jack's passing. Particularly disturbing as Jack and I were exactly the same age: we shared a birthday. I think our moms each promoted the story that we were both born in the same hospital on that day in July all those years ago, sharing space in the same maternity nursery. Rest in peace Jack.

ps I moved from Cleveland Heights back to RR in 2016. Closer to mom Dorothy in Lakewood nursing home and downsized to an apartment.
