A MESSAGE FROM HER SON JEFFREY WILLIAMS:
Barbara was a life long Cleveland Browns Fan. She listened to music from her school days all her life. Frankie Valle and The Four Seasons being one of her most favorites. She was a very proud Army Wife and Mother. Linda Frail was a life long friend. Whenever Barbara spoke of her days at Rocky River (1965), she never forgot to mention her friend Linda. Linda's name would come up in conversation through Barbara's life. Barbara was a nurse, and would work for some 25 years (est.) as the head nurse at Missouri Military Academy (MMA) where every year she would end up with more children and friends. Several cadets would return to visit Barbara over the years and several attended her funeral services. They were "her boys!" She loved them and enjoyed every minute with them. Barbara lead a full life, and nothing was more important to her than her Irish heritage and her family. Barbara's mother was a Dwyer (O'Dwyer) from County Tipperary, later Armagh, and Barbara would be the first Dwyer (Formosa) born in the United States. She was as proud to be Irish as she was to be an American. You could frequently see a tear in Barbara's eyes when she hear the U.S. National Anthem. She passed quietly, her son, his wife and two daughters by her side at 1:50am on 22 October 2024 in hospice, in St. Louis Missouri.
