"It is with sadness we announce the death of John Paul Demy, 75, in Las Vegas Nevada.
John was raised in Rocky River, Cleveland Ohio. In high school he was immensely popular, known for his sense of humor, athletic skills and charming personality. He was nicknamed “Gazelle” for his lighting speed in track & field and excelled in diving competitions.
After graduating John attended Bowling Green State University, majoring in Theater. In his early twenties John made the move to Southern California to work as an actor in the entertainment industry. John enjoyed a lifelong career in the show business. John worked in front of cameras for four decades and was a lifetime member of the Screen Actors Guild.
In Southern California John met his future long term wife Patricia O’Malley, who was from North Olmsted Ohio of all places. While living in Santa Monica, they became parents to Kathleen/Katie Antonacci whom they loved very much. The family eventually relocated to Palm Desert California. Katie married Frank Antonacci and they blessed John and Pat with two grandchildren, Frankie and Allison. John adored his grandchildren and visits with them became the highlight of his life.
John enjoyed many cats he homed throughout his lifetime and his favorite pastime was to eat pirogies and watch the Cleveland Browns play.
John was born in Cleveland to John and Anna Demy and survived by his brother Tom and Wendy Demy and nephew Alexander and Ashley. "
