Lynette B. Gerin. Mrs. Gerin, 61, of Charlotte died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at her home. Lynette was born on August 25, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Mark and Marjorie Behm. Over the years she had been employed as an administrative assistant in several different industries. Lynette will be remembered as a loving lady with a welcoming personality. She always had an open door policy for family and friends. Mrs. Gerin was preceded in death by her husband James Patrick Gerin, who passed in 1993. Survivors are her sons, Michael (Kathleen) Gerin, Douglas (Marcy) Gerin and Matthew Gerin, all of Charlotte; sisters, Sharon Dreyer and Margo Green; and sister-in-law, Maureen Catlin. Also surviving are her 2 granddaughters, Kylee Shae and Elizabeth Grace, who she adored. A visitation and service will take place on Saturday, February 14th at Morningstar Lutheran Church, 12509 Idlewild Rd., Matthews. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Levine Children's Hospital, POB 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232.
