Fenwick, Jr., Richard. Entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2009, Richard William Fenwick, Jr., husband of Avril Hanning Fenwick. Residence, Kiawah Island, SC. A celebration of life service will be conducted later on Kiawah Island, SC. Mr. Fenwick, Jr., was born June 28, 1947 in Lakewood, Ohio, the son of Richard William Fenwick and Joan Greene Fenwick. He was a graduate of The University of Michigan College of Engineering and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Rick was a founding member and served as Executive Administrator of Charleston Angel Partners (CHAP), an organization that invest in start-up companies. He was a member of The Kiawah Island Club, an avid golfer and loved to play the River Course and Cassique with the Friday Walkers. During his early career, Rick was associated with General Foods Corporation in White Plains, New York as a brand manager and the Weston Group in Westport, CT as a marketing consultant. He and his wife lived in Danbury, CT for 24 years before moving to Kiawah Island in 1996 where he loved the natural beauty of the island. He is survived by his wife of thirty nine years of Kiawah Island; one sister, Laura Ellen Fenwick of Fremont, Ohio; two brothers, Mark H. Fenwick of Bay Village, Ohio and Scott Joseph Fenwick of Fairview Park, OH; two nieces and three nephews. Memorials may be made to The Spoleto Festival, P.O.
