I know many if you have worked hard to provide this weekend of activities. Your effort is acknowledged and appreciated. The attendance decision process has provided a good opportunity to reflect.  I have talked with friends who attended reunions because it was a great time in their life that they wanted to relive. There are also those who attended just to strut their stuff as they felt their current success is payback for slights in the past. For me, it has been a progressive life and I'm delighted that my mediocre high school experience did not accurately predict my future. I decided that since high school was not my favorite life experience I will not revisit those times.
