Pilot training at Laredo, Texas followed by assignments to California, Viet Nam, Alaska and New Mexico in the F-4 and AT-38 aircraft.

Flight Test and Marketing at McDonnell Douglas in St Louis while flying F4s with the Air National Guard. Went full-time Air Guard in F-16s in 1992 retiring in 2004 after a tour as C-130 Wing Commander in the U.A.E. during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Worked as a program manager with the Air Force living in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

Retired in 2015 to the St Louis, MO area.

Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1969 with BS in Aerospace Engineering. MS in Engineering Management, University of Missouri, Rolla, 1982
